Overview
Continuum is the largest single plug-in collection in post production and it has been for years. Several hundred filters organised into units, covering keying, tracking, image restoration, lens and optical effects, particles, lighting, titling, transitions and a lot of stylised looks that would each be a separate purchase from anyone else. If a shot needs something the host application does not do, the answer is usually somewhere in here.
This build installs the complete set across every supported host on the machine in one pass, so the same effects appear inside your editor, your compositor and your grading application without three separate installs. It is licensed, which means no watermark on renders, no unit greyed out, and the preset browser fully populated rather than showing locked thumbnails.
What is actually in the collection
The keying unit is the part most people reach for first. It handles a green screen that was lit badly, with spill suppression, light wrap and edge treatment that hold up under a grade. Image restoration covers noise, grain matching, flicker removal and dead pixel repair, and the beauty tools do skin work at a level that would otherwise mean a dedicated retouching pass.
Beyond that there is a large optical and lens unit with real lens flares, glows, diffusion and depth of field, a particle system for smoke, fire, rain and debris, a lighting unit, a full titling and text unit, and a transitions set that goes far beyond dissolves. The stylise units cover film emulation, halftone, sketch and a long list of looks that are useful more often than their reputation suggests.
The tracker and how it changes the workflow
Every effect in the collection can be driven by the built in planar tracker rather than by hand keyframing. That means a blur, a light wrap or a text element can be pinned to a moving surface in the shot with a couple of clicks, and it holds through motion blur and partial occlusion better than a point tracker ever does.
The mocha masking module is included inside the effects, so a matte can be drawn and tracked without leaving the effect controls. For a rotoscoping job of any size this is the difference between an afternoon and a week, and it is the single strongest argument for the collection over assembling equivalent tools from separate vendors.
Hosts, presets and performance
The installer detects supported editors, compositors and grading applications and installs the appropriate plug-in format for each. The effects present the same controls everywhere, so a look developed in one application transfers to another through the preset system rather than being rebuilt.
The preset browser renders live thumbnails against your own footage rather than a stock clip, which makes browsing several hundred looks practical. GPU acceleration is used throughout with a CPU fallback, and the heavier units carry a draft quality toggle so the timeline stays responsive while you work and the full quality only comes back at render time.

System requirements
| Operating system | Windows 10 version 22H2 or Windows 11, 64-bit |
|---|---|
| Host application | A supported editor, compositor or grading application already installed |
| Processor | Intel or AMD, 6 cores recommended |
| Memory | 16 GB minimum, 32 GB for particle and restoration work |
| Graphics | Card with 8 GB VRAM recommended, CPU fallback available |
| Storage | 8 GB free |
Installing it
- Close every host application, including anything running in the tray.
- Turn off real time protection before running setup.
- Run the installer as administrator and confirm the host list it detects.
- Let the preset library unpack fully. It is the slow part of the install.
- Open one host and check that the units appear in the effect list before opening the rest.

Questions about this release
Does it install into more than one host at once?
Yes. The installer detects every supported application on the machine and installs the right format for each in a single pass.
Is there a watermark on renders?
No. The licence is applied during install, so every unit renders clean.
Is the mocha masking included?
Yes, it is built into the effect controls rather than being a separate application launch.
Can I move a look between hosts?
Yes. Save it as a preset in one and it loads in the others, since the controls are identical everywhere.
Comments
The tracker on every effect is the whole reason to have this. Pinned a blur to a moving plate in about a minute.
Restoration unit rescued some very noisy low light footage. Nothing else I have touches it.
Comments are read before they appear. If a build stops working, say so here and it gets rebuilt rather than quietly left up.
Installed into three hosts in one go. Every unit is unlocked, presets all render live.
