Overview
This is the image for setting up a machine in one sitting rather than three. It installs Windows 11 Professional at the 24H2 servicing level, with the Office 2021 Professional Plus suite already integrated so that the first desktop comes up with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Publisher present and ready. Both the operating system and the suite have their licensing settled in the image, so nothing asks for a key at any point.
The hardware requirement checks are bypassed in the installer, which means the platform module, the secure boot requirement and the processor generation list do not block the install. That is the reason most people choose this image over an official one: a perfectly capable machine from a few years ago is refused by the standard installer for reasons that have nothing to do with whether the system will run well, and it does run well.
The requirement bypass
The checks are handled inside the installation environment rather than by editing the registry afterwards, so there is no manual step during setup and no point at which the process stops to tell you the machine is unsupported. This covers the platform module requirement, the secure boot check, the memory floor and the processor compatibility list.
The machine will still receive quality updates normally afterwards. Feature updates delivered through the normal channel may reapply the check on a machine that does not meet it, in which case the upgrade is done from a fresh image rather than in place. What is in the image
The Professional edition is included, which brings the features the Home edition lacks: domain join, group policy editing, remote desktop hosting, drive encryption and the built in virtualisation platform. The 24H2 servicing baseline is folded in along with the cumulative updates current at build time, so the machine is close to up to date at first boot.
Office 2021 Professional Plus is integrated as a full installation rather than the preinstalled trial stub the retail images carry. The full application list is present including Access and Publisher, and the licensing is settled the same way the operating system's is. The suite can be removed afterwards through the normal uninstaller if you would rather install a different cycle.
What has been left alone
The component set is otherwise standard. No theme has been replaced, no third party utility has been added, and the default services and scheduled tasks are as the original media configures them. The preinstalled consumer applications and the store promoted entries are removed, which is the one deliberate omission and the one nobody misses.
The out of box setup experience is left in place so the machine is configured for the person who will use it, with one change: the requirement for a connected account during setup is removed, so a local account can be created directly without the workaround the standard installer otherwise demands.

Installing it
- Write the image to a USB drive of at least 16 GB using a tool that handles large install files correctly.
- Boot from the drive. No firmware changes are needed for the platform module or secure boot, since those checks are bypassed.
- Choose your language, select the target disk and let the install run. It restarts on its own several times.
- At the setup experience, create a local account directly rather than connecting one.
- At the desktop, install the chipset and graphics drivers, then open Word once to confirm the suite reports a licensed state.

Questions about this release
Will it install on a machine without a platform module?
Yes. That check and the secure boot and processor list checks are bypassed inside the installer, with no manual step required.
Does it still get updates?
Quality updates arrive normally. A feature update may reapply the requirement check, in which case upgrade from a fresh image instead of in place.
Is Office a trial?
No. It is a full Professional Plus installation with the licensing settled the same way the operating system's is.
Can I create a local account during setup?
Yes, directly. The connected account requirement is removed from the setup experience in this image.
